BRIEF INTRODUCTION

China Geo-engineering Corporation (CGC) was established in 1982 with the approval of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, officially subordinated to former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources of the People’s Republic of China. In May 2010, CGC was incorporated into China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) as a wholly-owned subsidiary company. As one of the first few large state-owned enterprise in China marching into the international engineering contracting market, CGC is mainly engaged in domestic engineering contracting, import and export of equipment, labor service export, mineral resources exploration and development, etc.

Located its head office in Beijing, the capital of China, CGC now has overseas branches, offices and project departments in over 70 countries and regions over the world, and nearly 40 branches and subsidiaries at home. Over the past 40 years, CGC, by means of its extensive construction management experience and advanced construction technology, has undertaken and then implemented hundreds of large and medium-sized projects at home and abroad, consisting of water supply and drainage, road and bridge engineering, irrigation and hydropower, environmental protection, building, geotechnical engineering, land and environment rehabilitation, geological hazard treatment, geological and mineral exploration and evaluation, mineral resources development, etc. CGC has won high appreciation from relevant international financial institutions, project owners, governments and local people for its sincerity with commitment, quality of works and efficiency in performance, and has been consecutively recognized as “China Top 30 International Contractors” and ENR Top 250 International Contractors.

Since the incorporation with CECEP, CGC, while continuously optimizing and enforcing its main business lines, has actively made forays into the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, and vigorously developed business in land and environment rehabilitation by utilizing of CECEP’s brand and resources, cutting a striking figure in the industry.
