Ladies and Gentlemen：
Since the establishment of China Geo-Engineering Corporation (CGC) in 1982, it has been undertaking hundreds of various kinds of engineering works in more than 60 countries and regions in the World with outstanding track records and recommendable reputation. In the past two decades, CGC has been given a great deal of assistance by friends from all walks of life in the courses of its development. As the President of the Corporation, I’d like to take this opportunity, on behalf of my staff, to convey my sincere gratitude to you for the concern and support conferred to us.
As a large state-owned enterprise under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), CGC takes it as its obligation to seize the opportunity and face the challenge to develop the Corporation into a specialized competitive international contractor, characteristic of highly intelligent management, peculiar identity and considerable substance. We shall, as we did in the past, strive for the best in a practical manner to construct green and quality projects at home and abroad on the principle of humanity first, profit focused, reform motivated, market oriented and credit based. We shall adhere to our corporate motto: patriotism, collectivism, enterprising, self-sacrifice and pursuit for improvement.
Looking forward to the future, CGC shall continue to base its strategy on the “home and foreign markets and resources” and cooperate sincerely with friends at all levels and circles at home and abroad, in a bid to push forward the country’s modernization drive and make its due contribution to the development and progress of the world .
